Miami trip

Last week I went to Miami. For fear of losing all my gear I only took my 5D (mark i), my 50mm 1.4 and my Sigma 70-200.

I only ended up using the 50mm except for a NYC sunset shot from JFK Airport but Ill post that separately.

All the images below are with the 50mm 1.4 which I now call ”fiddy”.

Anyway, I digress..

Thanks to Mihir for being a great sport whenever I saw amazing light and needed a shot with a subject :) Cheers brother!

Tomorrow the wedding season restarts for me and I cannot wait. This season is going to be busy with weddings, engagement sessions plus second shooting for others too..

I couldn’t wish for a better summer.

Hope you like the images below..

The shots taken with my iphone are on my facebook page here

Dee’s Vidhi : London Wedding Photographer

Here are some images from Dee’s Vidhi, a Hindu ceremony that takes place just before the wedding.

First there was a small ceremony for Dee’s parents followed by some prayers and then a ceremony for Dee.

It was a great occasion and very intimate, with Dee’s close family and friends attending.

Thanks Dee for letting me be a part of your day!

Here are some of my favourite images..

I absolutely loved this session with Manisha + Kirit.

They recently got engaged and wanted a session in London wearing traditional Indian clothes too.

The day was super windy but the sun was out and these two were a pleasure to shoot.

I’ll let the images do the rest of the talking..

All the best Manisha + Kirit

Any suggestions for a photographer [me], who tends to shoot portrait and too tight, 95% of the time? I can’t seem to manage cool images like you’ve captured here, because I’m so stuck on shooting tight to the person and barely ever frame with the camera held in landscape.

Sorraya + Dan : Holland Park : London

A couple of weeks ago, I shot this session with Sorraya and Dan in Holland Park, London. Having lived in London for most of my life I can’t believe I haven’t visited this area more. It was Dan’s choice and I’m really glad he chose it.

Spring is finally here and that added a great splash of colour to the images. Together these two are a photographer’s dream couple.. super relaxed in front of the camera and perfect to shoot.

Thanks Sorraya and Dan for a great session.
