I recently got back from a trip in India, where I got to hang out with one of my good friends Ravi. We met in London on a shoot I organised through the FlickR community and we then started to collaborate on projects ourselves until he moved back to India last year. Ravi & Maryam originally met in Kiev, Ukraine in 1999. They continued their relationship and careers in several various counties and after being together for 11 years, they were married in India in 2011.
I can’t even begin to thank Ravi for the amount he has taught and inspired me. So when he asked me if I could do a session with his wife Maryam and him, I jumped at the chance. We picked Mount Abu for the location, a place where Ravi went to school as a kid.
Mount Abu is absolutely beautiful. Lots of fresh air, nature and stunning sunsets by the lake. We even had some of the local kids join in the session which you’ll see below.
