Last week, I went to SWPP in London and booked a course with David Beckstead.
David has a great style of teaching and we walked around London looking for good light, interesting compositions and creative ways in which to shoot. I’m always looking to learn and improve my photography, so courses like this are perfect, learning from some of the best in the industry and in the world.
On top of that I met some fantastic photographers on the course. The models here were very professional and I hope I can credit them soon. [Waiting for details from SWPP]
This is one of my favourite images from the day. It was taken in the skateboard park area of South Bank, near the London Eye. It was raining at the time and so we looked for cover at the park.
I loved the shadows and light that was available, composing my shot so that some of the background was included to set the scene on this wet day.
Thanks David for a fantastic day and for taking time at the end to answer some of our questions!
