Natural light model shoot – Vancouver Portrait Photographer

Here are  a few extra shots from the model shoot from 2 weeks ago.

The meet up I organised was a strobist meetup, so we were using flash throughout, but the natural light that day was great too.

It was cloudy after having rained for the whole morning, and so the clouds were like a giant ”softbox”, giving great soft light on the models. Only in a few shots I used a reflector to get better catch lights in the eyes of the models.

Nearer the end of the session, we were able to shoot near a park nearby and used the Octa softbox with an Orange gel, while setting the white balance to tungsten to get this cool blue effect.
